Warburtons - Re Paint Programme

When Britain’s favourite Bakers Warburtons, began their rebranding exercise, part of this extensive programme was to decide on and implement a new paint colour scheme for their entire vehicle fleet. As an existing preferred supplier of vehicle rental to Warburtons, Riverside Truck Rental and their sister company Encore Asset Management were approached to assist with this important process.

Firstly as Encore Asset Management has extensive paint and refurbishment facilities at their Manchester site and have previously painted Warburtons vehicles, they knew the exacting quality and standards of finish, Warburtons expected.

As a Fleetwatch approved paint shop, Encore also worked closely with Warburtons and their preferred paint provider, PPG Industries to formulate and define the specification of the final paint code, finish specification and onward repaint programme. To help with the process, Riverside Truck Rental provided replacement tractor units and trailers to Warburtons, whilst Encore carried out the first vehicle repaints for evaluation, so that there was minimal disruption to daily operations.

Once the first vehicles were repainted, final evaluation and inspection were carried out by Warburtons and the decision on paint colour was confirmed.

Riverside Truck Rental and Encore Asset Management are now continuing to work with Warburtons on the repaint project which will see vehicles being repainted over the next 12 months.
